Punjab’s Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday said that previous governments crippled the rights of people of South Punjab while his government has returned those to them.
In a statement on Monday, Buzdar said that separate ‘development budget book’ has been prepared for South Punjab for the first time in history.
“Governments before spent South Punjab’s money on other cities, and the funds of deprived part of province were shifted to other areas. They (former governments) betrayed people of South Punjab in the name of development”, Buzdar added.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that now South Punjab’s budget and funds will never be shifted to any other area since we have done ‘ring financing’ for its development budget. These funds will only be used for the progress and development of South Punjab, Usman Buzdar promised adding that governments in past swindled South Punjab through tempered facts and figures.
