Police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly murdering his wife at their house with the help of his father.
The woman was found dead in her house and her husband claimed that she committed suicide by hanging herself.
SSP Operations Peshawar, Khasif Aftab Abbasi, took notice of the incident on the complaint of slain woman brother and formed a special team for investigation.
The police team led by SP Rural Division Zafar Ahmed Khan and SHO Khazana Police Station Sadam Khan utilized all available resources and arrested the suspects involved within a few hours, said police.
The suspect was husband who with the help of his father killed his wife over a domestic issue and tried to portray the incident as suicide, said police investigation team.
The husband persons have been identified as Noor Khan, husband and Ali Gul, father-in-law of the slain woman.
During investigation, the arrested husband confessed that he with the help of his father killed his wife over a domestic issue. SHO Khazana Police Station Sadam Khan said that further investigation into the killing of wife has been launched and more revelation are expected.
