Workshop on exam preparation in Parachinar

A workshop organized by the Kohat Education Board was organized here in which a detailed discussion was held regarding paper preparation and examinations based on students’ learning outcomes.
Addressing the workshop held at Governor Cottage Parachinar, the Kohat Education Board said: Chairperson Samina Altaf, Chairman Abbottabad Education Board Muhammad Shafiq Awan, DG Commerce Ghazanfar Ali, Assistant Commissioner Ameer Nawaz and Tehsil Chairman Agha Muzmal Hussain said that it is important to create awareness regarding student learning outcomes.
The upcoming exams this year will be 50% SLO based, while a complete grading system is being introduced in the exams from 2024. Chairperson Samina Altaf and Chairman Muhammad Shafiq Awan mentioned the grading system in detail and said that this system will help the students.
The series of disappointments will end and the examinations will be ensured in a clear and transparent manner and the rota system will be abolished. The heads of the education boards said that the eight education boards in the province regarding the grading system for the better future of the students. Heads of public and private educational institutions and senior teachers from different areas of Kurram District participated in the workshop.
The participants of the workshop on introduction of grading systems, Kohat Board Chairperson Samina Altaf and Abbottabad Board Chairman Muhammad Shafiq Awan. In the end, Assistant Commissioner Upper Kurram presented the shields on behalf of District Administration to Chairperson Kohat Board and Chairman Abbottabad.
