PESHAWAR: To celebrate World Teachers’ Day, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will organize a central ceremony at Government Hasnain Shaheed Higher Secondary School, City No1, Peshawar on Thursday. Dr. Muhammad Qasim Jan, Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education at the Department would be chief guest. World Teachers’ Day, also known as Salam Teachers’ Day, is observed worldwide to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of educators.
