WSSCM BoD chairman inspects morning sanitation operations at UC Kaskorona

Chairman Board of Directors, Water & Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM), Engineer Adil Nawaz paid an early morning surprise visit to review ongoing sanitation operations. He inspected sanitation activities in the streets of Union Council Kaskorona and appreciated the performance of the field staff present on duty. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the primary purpose of the surprise visit was not only to assess the overall cleanliness of the city but also to ensure the attendance of sanitation workers, supervisors, inspectors, and management staff of WSSCM. During the visit, he also met local residents and listened to their grievances and suggestions regarding cleanliness. Engineer Adil Nawaz stated that despite limited resources, the company is making tireless efforts day and night to improve the cleanliness of the city.
However, he added that this mission cannot be accomplished without the cooperation and support of citizens. He directed the management staff to take concrete measures to further improve cleanliness in Mardan city and to promptly address the problems faced by the public.
He further directed for improvements in container management, drain cleaning, and the resolution of issues at identified hotspot areas of the city. Emphasizing that the company is working round the clock to enhance sanitation and drainage services, he appealed to the public to refrain from throwing waste into drains, canals, and storm water channels in order to prevent blockages.
The Chairman also announced that the series of surprise visits would be extended to other union councils of the city to further enhance service delivery for citizens.
