Like other parts of the country workers of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz group (PML-N) celebrated Youm-e-Takbeer in Landi Kotal, aimed to make Pakistan unbeatable and a social welfare country under the dynamic leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
In this connection a gathering was organized in Landi Kotal where scores of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz group (PML-N) volunteers besides laymen cut the cake to commemorate the day.
It is to be stated here that 28, May 1998, the government of Pakistan led by Nawaz Sharif conducted six atomic testing explosions in Chahghai area of Balochistan province and became atomic power.
Addressing on the occasion PML-N Khyber General Secretary Sajid Ali Afrid, senior leader Nosherwan and others said that it was a historical day when Pakistan became the seventh nuclear power and first Muslim country with nuclear capabilities under dynamic leadership of Nawaz Shrief and made the country defense invincible.
They added that the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif shun the international pressure and conducted nuclear test explosions, making the defense of Pakistan undefeated.
Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto dreamed and initiated the nuclear program and Nawaz Sharif practically completed it, they opined.
The speakers maintained that Pakistan became the most prosperous country of South Asia with the imposition of pro-people economy policies by the government of PML-N under the headship of Nawaz Sharif however under a planned conspiracy the then PML-N government was removed that derailed the economic progress and Pakistan faced the worst economic crises.
Because of the nuclear capability that enemies’ of the country could not dare to manage offense against the motherland they said and added with carrying out atomic testing blasts, security of the country was made unbeatable .
