PESHAWAR: Young doctors here on Thursday staged a protest demonstration in front of provincial assembly to press demands about salary increase and promotion. Young doctors demanded advertisement of vacancies through public service commission, withdrawal of fee increase in colleges, salary increase of house officers and trainee medical officers and resolution of promotion related problems. They also demanded provision of facilities in far flung area hospitals and hundred percent increase in salaries of doctors working in medical teaching institutes. APP
