SWABI: A youngster was swept away by gushing waves of a rain-water nullah near Dagai, Khado Khel area of district Swabi. According to rescue workers, a youngster was swept away by waves of a nullah that was soared by the rains that lashed most of the district. His body was recovered from another rain-water fed stream of village Salim Khan. Meanwhile, series of rain continued in the district on Thursday disrupting traffic in various areas. Rain water inundated shops, houses and roads in various low lying localities. District Emergency Officer 1122, Awais Babar has directed rescue workers to remain alert during rains. He also directed people to be vigilant and call Rescue 1122 service in case of emergency. APP
