A three-day Youth Networking and Skills Capacity Building Summer Camp concluded in Khanspur, Ayubia, bringing together young participants from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to promote leadership, networking and professional development.
The camp was organised by the non-profit organisation CLADO in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Affairs Department. Male and female participants from different districts attended the programme.
Professionals from diverse fields conducted interactive sessions, mentoring participants on career development, leadership, communication skills and future educational and professional opportunities.
Speaking to this correspondent, CLADO CEO Abdur Rehman said the initiative aimed to equip young people with practical skills while creating networking opportunities that would help them in their academic and professional careers.
“Our objective is to empower the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by enhancing their skills, broadening their exposure and preparing them to succeed in their future endeavours,” he said.
Trainer, Zafar Bangash said many young people in the province had limited access to confidence building and exposure opportunities, which affected their personal and professional growth.
The summer camp was organised to address this gap by providing skill development sessions, networking opportunities and information about scholarship programmes so that participants can pursue higher education and career opportunities with greater confidence,” he said.
Organisers expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue to create platforms for youth engagement and capacity building across the province.
