10 kidnapped after dacoits intercepted various vehicles at National Highway

At least ten people were abducted by unknown armed dacoits who intercepted various vehicles at National Highway late night. According to reports, a group of armed assailants kidnapped nine people from various vehicles on National Highway they fired shots at vehicles to stop them.
The abductees were identified as Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Akram, Mohammadullah, Mohammad Shahid, Liaquat Ali, Ghulam Qadir Hashimi, Khuram Shahzad, Liaquat and Shoiab. Local police said that after receiving information of the incident they arrived at the spot while chased the dacoits, but they were managed to escape riverine area.
On other hands police have confirmed the kidnapping of four people, police said that incident took place near Naich village near NHA at Kashmore while they also fired on vehicles as victims resisted in which two people were injured and then they taken away four people to Katcha. However injured were shifted to Rahim yaar Khan after first aid at Kandhkot police said.
Soon after the incident, a large number of locals, relatives of victims arrived at the crime scene and held a protest demonstration by blocking the National Highway with burning tyres and wooden desks. Due to blockage of the road hundreds public and private vehicles remained stuck on both tracks of the road for several hours.
Meanwhile the demonstrators kept raising slogans for immediate arrest of the attackers and recovery of the kidnapped persons. Similarly dacoits kidnapped a person Mor Khan gujrani on gun point within the limits of Tangwani police late night.
It is mentioned that last for four to five months the law and order situation has become abysmal since robberies, dacoities, mobile and bike snatchings, theft have rampant across kashmore. On the other hands civil society, social activists and local citizens have grave concerns over raising of the crime ratio throughout district and demanded from IGP Sindh, DIGP larkana and SSP Kashmore for early restore of peace.
