115 fresh dengue cases reported in KP

PESHAWAR: Despite severe cold after a fresh spell of rains, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last 24 hours reported 115 more cases of dengue, the total number of active dengue patients in the province reaching 622 . According to the KP health department updated report on Monday, the total number of dengue deaths in the province remained at 18 while a total of 29 dengue patients were being treated in hospitals. The report added that during the same period of time 48 people tested positive for dengue in the provincial capital, Peshawar, and 13 each in district Mardan and Sewabi. With three deaths, the total number of dengue patients in Peshawar this year has reached 9032. The Mosquito borne disease in the province so far infected a total of 21308 in KP while Peshawar and Mardan continue to remain the hot spot of the dengue. Districts including Bannu, Lower Dir, Kohat, Peshawar, Swabi and Mardan are still continuously reporting dengue cases. DLP Report
