14 persons have been killed and many have sustained injuries after a Mazda truck has fallen in dry canal due to dense fog induced poor visibility.
According to RESCUE Authorities the incident occurred near area of Gulal pur Banglow in Tehsil Kot Momin of district Sargodha. 23 persons who were on board the mini truck were going to attend a funeral .
The mini truck skidded of the road and fell into dry canal. 7 persons died on the spot being trapped under the truck.
RECUE team shifted the bodies and critically injured persons to THQ hospital. During treatment 7 persons more succumbed to injuries. The condition of 3 out of 11 injured persons is stated to be critical.
The deceased were identified as Misri Khan, Haleema Bibi, Yaseen, Sonia Bibi, Pathani Bibi, Hania, Iman Fatima, Rani Bibi, Haris, Waseem, Horain, Aamna, Hareem Fatima and Saqlain. The injured were identified as Hasnain, Saqlain, Zaheer, Mumtaz, Kashif, Nadeem, Shamim, Nadia and Parveen.
