A total of 1,773 people benefited from two mega free medical camps organised by the Helping Humanity Organisation (HHO) at a basic health unit in a remote area of Shangla.
The 28th and 29th camps, held under HHO’s “Free Health Facilities” initiative, were organised at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Gunengar in Union Council Sarkool of Chakesar tehsil.
The camps provided residents with free medical consultations, healthcare guidance and laboratory diagnostic services.
According to camp statistics, 791 women, 367 men and 615 children received medical consultations, while 175 laboratory diagnostic tests were also conducted.
The response from the local community highlighted the need for accessible and quality healthcare services in remote and underserved areas, organisers said.
HHO thanked doctors, healthcare professionals, staff, volunteers, organisers and community members for their contribution to the success of the camps.
The organisation said it would continue its humanitarian and healthcare initiatives to provide essential services to underserved communities.
