Distrcit police kashmore claimed to have killed 20 hardened criminals who had carrying head – money in millions of rupees from sindh government, apprehended 3531 proclaimed offenders, 2122 absconders and busted 13 hard core gangs who had ransacked the area with evil designs during the last twelve months from various parts of kashmore.
According to press release issued by distrcit headquarters kashmore that during last 12 months police had conducted 533 raids and encounters in which as many as 247 notorious dacoits who were wanted to police in henious crime cases such as murderers, kidnapping for ransom, highway robberies, attack on police and others were held from katcha of gheehalpur, badani, ghoraghat, gublo and others.
Although 20 hardened criminals of katcha area including Takkar sabzoi carrying head money of one crores, Jaagan alias jaggu 30 lacs, Sabo 10 lacs and others were encountered.
According to press release, 3531 POs, and 2121 absconders were caught. Police claimed that 69 dacoits were nabbed in injured condition however 66 abductees were recovered from the clutches of kidnappers and arrested 18 kidnappers.
It is stated that 123 gamblers were caught, 63000 stake cash, 144 cellphones, 136 bikes, four laptops were recovered from their possessions.
At a large scale of weapons such as Rocket launchers 04, rocket shells 16, Anti craft guns 4, snipper rifles 05, LMGs 2, Kalshan koves 33, TT pistols 78, shot guns 61, bullets 1903, cartridges 208, hand grenade 11 and two detonators and wires. As per details, 835 kg charas, 263 bhang, 3133 litres of local made wine, 1003 english wine and 178 kg of indian poisonous gutka.
It is stated that smuggling of Iranian oil was also foiled and seized 42000 litres of oil and have arrested 18 smugglers. It was also said dozans of hideouts of the criminals were smashed in the katch area of kashmore and established 32 police pickets.
