One female died and two others got injured while 10 houses fully damaged and 22 houses partially damaged due to the recent heavy rain spill in Mardan district, Aasman Arif Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Relief and Human rights said.
She added that according to the report due to the recent heavy rain spill a woman died and two women got injured when a roof of a house collapsed in tehsil Takhtbhai. She added that at tehsil Takhatbhai 4 houses were partially damaged. She added that at tehsil Mardan 9 houses were fully damaged, 17 partially damaged while 2 other properties also partially damaged.
She added that at tehsil Katlang one house partially damaged and at tehsil Garhi Kapura 1 house fully damaged while no damage occurred at tehsil Rustam. She added that the Rustam-Hamza Kot bridge was also partially damaged due to the heavy rainfall due to which the access way to and out of Hamza Kot was blocked.
She added that however later on the local elders of the village repaired the bridge at their own coast. She added that preparation was also completed for the next spill of monsoon.
