PESHAWAR: Police claimed to have arrested 28 facilitators of notorious criminals during the first three weeks of the years as SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed intensified crackdown on criminals in the provincial capital. According to details, a special crackdown has been launched by the police against the notorious criminals and against the facilitators. During the first three weeks of this year, 28 facilitators have been arrested, including arresting notorious criminals, all of whom are from different parts of the city. During preliminary investigations it come to the light that most of the criminals were involved in alleged murder, attempted murder and other serious crimes. Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing crackdown against the proclaimed offenders, SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed has also directed non-discriminatory action against other persons harboring the PO criminals.
