3 terrorists have been killed in a joint operation by police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in district Swat KP. According to reports 3 key terrorists of fitna Alkhawarij have been killed by CTD.
According to security sources, the killed terrorists were identified as Ajmal, resident of Mangora, Rahim Ullah Rehmani, an Afghan national, and Mateen Ullah, resident of Shangla.
Head money of Rs 20 lac was fixed on Ajmal alias Waqas, who had killed members of village defence council.
CTD said the terrorists who were killed were involved in attacks on security forces and martyrdom of police personnel. Foreign funded network of terrorists has been smashed. The terrorists were involved in IED attacks and extortion of money cases.
Regional police officer Malakand division Sher Akbar Khan said this operation has dealt a serious blow to operational wings of Fitna Alkhawarij in Swat and adjoining areas.
IG Police KP Zulfiqar Hameed has appreciated regional police and CTD Swat for successful operation against operational command wing of Fitna Alkhawarij.
