4 accused nominated in Kohistan Financial scandal have filed applications for plea bargain. According to NAB sources 4 accused nominated in Kohistan financial scandal have filed plea bargain pleas in Accountability Court (AC). Those who have filed applications include Qaisar headclerk CNW department and three benamidars. As per sources Benamidar include wife of Qaisar and 2 other accused persons. The accused are ready to go for plea bargain with NAB. The accused are of the plea they are ready to pay the amount to NAB which is payable by them.
According to sources NAB will scrutinize the payable amount by the accused persons and their assets. Chairman NAB will accord approval after scrutiny. Then plea bargain will be made.
NAB has said accused Qaisar is included among major accused in Upper Kohistan scandal.
Rs 40 billions were withdrawn in the name of development schemes in Kohistan financial scandal.
The development schemes are not existing on ground while amount has been withdrawn.
The accused have made transferable and non transferable properties worth billion of rupees in their own name, name of their wives and relatives.
The accused are ready for plea bargain along with their benamidars.
