Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested five suspects involved in theft cases and recovered stolen goods worth millions of rupees.
The arrest was made by Khan Razaq Shaheed Police under the supervision of SP City Shahid Adnan, said a statement.
The recovered items include Rs 840,000 cash, a gold necklace, 3 mobile phones, batteries, UPS, washing machine, and other valuables. Police said that the goods were returned to their rightful owners, who expressed gratitude to the police.
DSP City Akhtar Hussain and SHO Riaz Afridi oversaw the operation.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Irfan, Asfahan, Irfan Ali, Mudasser, and Muhammad Ayaz.
