ISLAMABAD: 760 million ($1,023 million) has been transferred from IMF to the account of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). SBP has confirmed the receipt of the amount from IMF saying Pakistan has received second tranche of special drawing rights worth 760 million ($1,023 million) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the extended fund facility programme. This was said by SBP in a post on X on Wednesday. Due to receipt of second tranche the foreign exchange reserves have risen. Earlier Executive board of IMF held its first review on May 9, 2025.
