A surveillance team of the RTO, and Police Wednesday confiscated 1.15m tobacco sticks during two separate joint operations. These illegal cigarettes worth Rs3.225m were being transported through a vehicle to Punjab without payment of tax.The spokesman of the RTO said, crackdown on such elements would continue and no one would be allowed to commit such illegal acts and that violators of the law would be dealt with an iron hand.
