PDM Chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman has contacted former president Asif Ali Zardari on telephone and both the leaders exchanged views on the political situation of the country and agreed to accelerate the pace of anti government movement.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman apprised Asif Ali Zardari about the reservations of his party and PML-N in respect of PPP proposal for bringing vote of no confidence against the government.
It may be mentioned that some hours before telephonic contact between Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Asif Ali Zardari , PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had contacted Maulana Fazlur Rehman by telephone and he strongly opposed PPP proposal for floating no confidence move against the government.
He expressed his displeasure over this proposal and asked Maulana Fazlur Rehman to talk to Asif Zardari in this regard.
