Both institutes formally sign MoU to launch the new products of SMEs of KP

Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited have entered into strategic partnership to facilitate members under Dukan Hifazat initiative.
In this regard, an Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held during a meeting chaired by SCCI President Junaid Altaf here at the chamber house on Thursday.
Senior vice president of the chamber Muhammad Nadeem and CEO Jubilee General Insurance Asfar Arshad formally signed on the MOU, aiming to offer insurance facilities of business premises for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Vice president (Marketing), the Jubilee Insurance Ghazanfar Savul, Senior Vice president/Branch Head Peshawar Atta Muhammad, Farwa Aqeel and other officials were present during the ceremony.
Besides, Members of the SCCI’s executive committee Adnan Nasir, Aftab Iqbal, Saifullah Khan, members of business community including Sherfarzand, Ihsanullah, Sameer Chaudhry, Saddar Gul, Zahoor Khan, Rashid Iqbal Siddique, Gul Zaman, presidents of different traders associations of the city, SCCI’s General Secretary Muqtasid Ahsan were present on the occasion.
Farwa Aqeel, an official of the jubilee insurance through a multimedia presentation briefed comprehensively regarding the Dukan Hifazat program, its benefits, procedures and registration methods.
President Junaid Altaf in his opening remarks welcomed the collaboration with Jubilee Insurance and highlighted the significance of the strategic partnership under Dukan Hifazat initiative.
SCCI chief urged Jubilee Insurance to simplify the procedures, enhance the value of the premium and extend the initiative from small scale businesses to large scale manufacturing units.
Earlier, CEO Jubilee Insurance Asfar Arshad while replying various queries of participants/businessmen on the occasion stated that the new initiative/product aims to provide protection to Small and Medium Enterprises of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Arshad said the product will have a very minimal cost and provide decent protection.”
He called upon the KP business community to take full benefit from this new product.
The CEO assured the initiative would be expanded to large scale businesses in the light of the Sarhad Chamber recommendations.
