PM, Opposition leader condemn Quetta attacks

Islamabad : Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday condemned terrorist attacks on FC force in Quetta and Turbat saying that war against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication.
In a statement, Prime Minister Imran Khan condoled the families of martyred FC personnel during attacks and said that we will continue to combat terrorism and will never allow anyone to harm Baluchistan’s peace. “Strongly condemn terrorist attacks against our soldiers in Balochistan last night, martyring 4 soldiers & injuring 8. My prayers & condolences go to the martyrs families. We will continue our fight ag these terrorists & will not allow them to sabotage peace & dev in Balochistan.” The premier tweeted.
On the other end, Opposition leader in National Assembly and PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the terror attacks over forces.
Shahbaz said that we are proud of the sons of soil, who sacrifice their lives for country. The increasing incidents of terror attacks are a great concern and need to be dealt with wisdom.
Earlier, Five terrorists were killed and eight injured in exchange of fire with the FC troops in two separate attacks launched by terrorist in Quetta and Turbat.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in first incident, FC post near Pir Ismail Ziarat was targeted by terrorists.
In ensuing exchange of fire, four brave FC soldiers embraced martyrdom and six sustained injuries.
In second incident, terrorists targeted FC vehicle with IED at Turbat.
Resultantly, 2 FC soldiers got injured.
ISPR said such coward acts by inimical elements backed by anti-state forces cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
Security forces are determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
