Executive Engineer Highway Division Waheedullah Khan Bhittani said that public welfare projects are being given priority over projects of personal interest. He expressed these views while talking to the media.
He said that work on Wana Link Road has been stopped due to use of faulty materials in the construction works and orders have been issued for the reconstruction of the road by summoning the contractor.
He said that the use of substandard equipment has been banned in project of south Waziristan.
He said that before the merger, the bill was issued by making a photo shoot and without ground working, the money of the said scheme was being withdrawn and the government treasury was being ruthlessly returned.
