In order to ensure security and maintain law and order situation, police have devised security measurements for local body polls.
In this connection, police have finalized security arrangements for the upcoming local body elections in Peshawar.
In this regard, while security arrangements are being finalized, meetings are also being held with the local body candidates so that all candidates can be given other instructions including election code of conduct.
In this regard, meetings have been held with the candidates participating in the local body elections in Paharipura, Shah Qabul Police Station, Tehkal, Urmor, Rehman Baba, Shahpur, Agha Mir Jani Shah, Tatara, Mathura and other police stations.
During the meetings, the local body candidates have been informed about the election campaign, rallies and processions, election campuses and election code of conduct.
It was also directed to co-operate fully and complete the election process peacefully.
All the candidates assured to co-operate fully with the government agencies including election code of conduct, law enforcement during the election campaign.
