Provincial President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Women Wing, Senator Rubina Khalid Sunday said that incompetent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has nothing to do rather changing the names of mega projects that were initiated in PPP’s era adding conversion of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) into Ehsas Program was clear incompetence of present government.
She expressed these views while addressing a Party Convention held at district Kohat that was organized by PPP Women Wing KP. The convention besides large numbers of women party workers throughout the province was attended by Provincial General Secretary Shazia Tehmas, vice presidents Ashbar Jadoon, Dina Naz, Mehr Sultana, Mussarat Niaz, and Neelofar.
Rubina Khalid said that the participation of a large number of women party workers in the convention was an expression of confidence in the decisions of the party leadership. She said the role of women in politics was enlightened and they had always played their vital role alongside men for supremacy of democracy.
She said that PPP was the only party that has always prioritised women workers that is why the women belonging to other political parties were joining PPP. She said the PPP manifesto was to work for achieving targeted goals of national interest rather than making chaos over consistently failure.
