Anti-Corruption Department Tank has registered a case against officials involved in issuing domicile of South Waziristan to Afghan citizen. Assistant Director Anti-Corruption Dera Ismail Khan Abdul Hai Babar told media that on the instructions of Director Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amjad Ali Khan, action has been initiated against corruption and corrupt elements. In order to eradicate corruption, the Assistant Director said that the Anti-Corruption Department had received a complaint that an Afghan citizen named Zariyala had been issued a domicile in South Waziristan with the connivance of government officials. An inquiry has been launched by Officer Abdul Jalil and further investigation has been started by registering a case against the concerned Tehsildar and officials involved. A case was also registered against Afghan citizen and further investigation underway.
He further added that indiscriminate legal action would be taken against those who embezzled government funds.
