Cheques of 12.5 million rupees give away for monthly pay of newly posted teachers

Education department, Khyber handed over cheques of 12.5 million rupees to the headmasters of 44 government run schools for monthly salaries of freshly appointed 54 teachers.
In this connection a simple gathering was organized on the last day here in Shaheed Ammar Centennial high school,Landi Kotal that was attended by the Assistant Subdivision Education Officer Haji Ghaffar Shinwari,scores of head teachers and officials.
The education officer gave away cheques of 12.5 million rupees to the headmasters of 44 state-run primary educational institutions that will pay through Parent Teacher Committee (PTC) fund to the 54 newly posted teachers in form of their monthly pays.
Speaking on the occasion Haji Ghaffar Shainwari said that with the initiative of hiring fresh staff by the education department will overcome the long lasting problem of deficiency of teaching in the schools and the tribesmen will avail an opportunity of quality education at their door steps.
He urged the teachers to utilize their energies to impart knowledge to the children of remote areas of Landi Kotal.
It is to be mentioned here that most primary educational institutions of Landi Kotal especially located in Shelman,Bazaar Zakha Khel,Pased Khel etc. lacked teaching staff that suffered the children.
The parents and elders appreciated and thanked the positive initiative of the government and said that posting of additional staff will resolve the issue of dearth of teachers in primary schools and will improve education ratio in the areas.
