PESHAWAR
The former president of Peshawar Press Club (PPC) and senior journalist Alamgir Khan on Saturday congratulated the newly elected body of Peshawar Bar Association (PBA) and expressed good wishes for the cabinet members.
A delegation led by Alamgir Khan met the newly elected cabinet of the Peshawar Bar Association and Congratulated them on winning the election, Vice President Khyber Union of Journalists Abdul Baseer Qalandhar, Senior Journalist Khair-Ur-Rehman, Sameer Razzique and Other Journalists were also a part a delegation.
The newly elected president of the Peshawar Bar Association, Ali Zaman, and other elected members welcomed the journalists. The delegation of journalists congratulated all elected cabinet including Ali Zaman and hoped that the new Cabinet would play a vital role in resolving problems related to the courts and cases, besides working day and night for the rights of lawyers.
They said that the role of both journalists and advocates is very important for improving society and solving public problems. For which strong links between the two are necessary.
Ali Zaman, president of the Peshawar Bar Association and other cabinet members thanked the journalists and assured them of their full cooperation.
