Three minor among five killed in different incident Orakzai, NW

At least five persons including three miners were killed and three more sustained injuries in two different incidents in tribal districts North Waziristan and Orakzai.
In the first incident, some unknown armed men shot dead two young men in Mir Ali Bazar in Tribal District North Waziristan last evening, belonging to Tehsil Lachi of Kohat, as per information received here on Tuesday.
“Both the victims belonged to same village Manduri in Tehsil Lachi reportedly had gone to Tribal District North Waziristan for recruitment in the Frontier Corps (FC) where they were shot dead by unknown persons in Mir Ali Bazaar”, told a local senior journalist quoting police. They were identified as Adnan Mahmood and Shafiullah, 21/20 years old and belonged to same village Manduri in Tehsil Lachi”.
According to another incident, following an explosion at a coal mine in the Chapper Mishti area of the Orakzai tribal district last night, the water storage broke out and flooded the mine with huge amounts of water, getting stuck as many as 6 working miners out of which three miners were found dead while three injured were rescued alive, as per report of Rescue 1122.
As soon as the information was received, rescue teams of Rescue 1122 reached the site and started rescue operation and rescued three miners Samiullah, Ahmed and Farman alive from the mine and rushed them to the Divisional Headquarters Hospital Kohat where their condition was said to be critical.
Rescue operation to retrieve the bodies of missing miners continued for several hours and finally recovered the dead bodies of the three miners namely Shamshad, Bakht Munir and Shoaib accordingly. All the deceased and injured miners belonged to District Shangla, police told, adding that the bodies of the slain workers were sent to their hometowns.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Orakzai reached the spot and supervised the rescue work. In the meantime, Secretary Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Humayun Khan called and spoke to Deputy Commissioner Orakzai regarding the tragic incident. Deputy Commissioner Orakzai gave him briefing about the accident.
