MARDAN
Independence Day of Pakistan was commemorating in a simple and dignified manner by water and sanitation services company Mardan.
Various teams of the company cleaned the city. The head office was decorated and illuminated.
The cake cutting ceremony was held in the office where Chief Executive Officer Engineer Amir Khan Mohmand along with his staff inaugurated the function.
He said, that love for the country is a part of faith and it was a great blessing and living nations celebrate their independence day with full zeal and enthusiasm.
CEO WSSM paid a rich tributes to Muslims of the sub-continent and express our collective gratitude to them for their heroic struggle, and epic sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan.
Amir Khan said that this day should not be limited just celebrating but this day reminds us that the way our forefathers gave sacrifices and made Pakistan.
“ We should express our determination that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the development and stability of the country, “he added.
The flag march was led by General Manager Operations Engineer Muhammad Khalil Akbar.
The flag march was started from college chwok towards Bank Road, Khawaja Ganj Bazar, Shahidano Bazar, Chatto Chowk Shamsi Road and reached Mardan Nowshera Road.
All vehicles of the company participated in the flag march and the vehicles were decorated with the Pakistani flag.
