The Provincial Meteorological Center Peshawar on Friday predicted that mainly partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the province during the next 24 hours.
However, it said that rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds are likely to occur over scattered places in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Buner, Shangla, Swat, Lower & Upper Dir, Malakand, Chitral, Kurram, Mohmand, Khyber, Bajaur districts.
The Center further predicted that rain-thunderstorms with gusty winds are likely to occur over isolated places in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat and Hangu districts.
During the last 24 hours mainly partly cloudy and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the province. However, light rain occurred in Tirah area of Khyber district.
Maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at different stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were Peshawar City 36/12, Peshawar A/P 33/24, Chitral 31/14, Timergara 32/14, Dir 29/11, Mirkhani 32/14, Kalam 24/06, Drosh 32/17, Saidu Sharif 31/17, Pattan 35/18, Malam Jabba 18/10, Takht Bhai 35/22, Kakul 27/16, Balakot 31/15,Parachinar 29/12 Bannu 37/21, Cherat 29/17 and D.I. Khan 37/25.
The maximum temperature recorded in the province was 37°C each in Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu.
