Faiq demands electoral reforms, strengthening of institutions

Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has called for initiating a new era of politics by bringing electoral reforms and strengthening of institutions.
Shah, while reacting to yesterday’s held by-election on eight National Assembly and three provincial assembly seats of Punjab here during a meeting on Monday said that people, especially youth expressed hatreds through vote against dynastic politics and family interests as they have already rejected them.
He made it clear that any political party would remain divided in inherited leadership and interests couldn’t be succeeded.
Faiq emphasized this is the time that a favourable atmosphere should be given to youth, because they are fully capable of altering the future of the country.
The ATP chief asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to prevent youth power from using extremes, and chaos, and to efficiently utilize these unmatched skills for making Pakistan a developed and progressive nation.
He hoped they (youth) can change the future of the country.
Shah said ATP under such an agenda is carrying out a vigorous youth movement.
Youth has a precious asset and prime source of development, through which an organized struggle needed to be launched at economic, social and moral level, the ATP chief remarked.
Faiq stressed it is essential to initiate a new era of politics by bringing electoral reforms and strengthening of institutions, which is knocking on doors again and again.
He warned of major damage if no one paid heed to voice.
Shah said his party is bringing up youths and skillful people.
