District Police Officer Riffat Ullah Khan visited the Police Lines on Wednesday, where he conducted a detailed inspection of police vehicles and other official equipment.
As per a statement, during the visit, the DPO examined each police mobile individually, reviewing the condition of the vehicles, cleanliness, availability of essential equipment, and other administrative matters.
He also inspected the police mess, barracks, and various other sections of the Police Lines.
Mr. Khan directed the relevant officers to ensure the timely maintenance and proper use of police vehicles and other government resources.
“The condition of the Police Lines and police resources plays a key role in effective policing and in ensuring timely service delivery to the public,” he said.
The DPO further instructed that all police vehicles, equipment and other government property be regularly monitored and maintained so that the force remains fully prepared to perform its duties in any emergency situation.
Police officials briefed the DPO on the current operational status of the fleet and assured him that directives regarding maintenance and upkeep would be implemented immediately.
