PESHAWAR
Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has congratulated the China president Xi Jinping for securing a third term as the country’s top leader.
Shah called Xi Jinping’s re-election a tribute to his “unwavering devotion” towards the people of China, said a statement issued by the party media cell here on Monday.
Xi Jinping was on Sunday re-elected as the General Secretary of the ruling Communist Party of China for a record third five-year term, a privilege only accorded to party founder Mao Zedong.
The ATP chief commented on Pakistan’s prevailing scenario, saying “we must think about what we have lost in the past 75 years and what China has gained in 70 years?
Under charismatic leadership President Xi, China has established an example by driving millions of people out of poverty because of a strong system, policies and economic policies, Shah noted.
“We have been remained unsuccessful to frame political system, administrative structure, and economic and defence policies”,
Faiq once again demanded to formulate a board of wisdom and honesty at local and national level in order to bring consistency in policies and remove ‘tug of war’ for gaining power.
A viable system would come as a result of the crafting of joint boards, he hoped.
Shah, furthermore claimed that accountability, justice and authority will directly connect with a strong system under a single umbrella.
He desired: “If all institutions become partners then destination of progress will get soon”,
“We need to learn from the growing world economic giant, the People’s Republic of China,”
The party leader said it is a sign of a strong nation. We must learn lessons from the past mistakes, saying that it is not wise to ignore it, he added.
Faiq says, “ATP has presented a concept to the government and a sketch of a policy board on which a joint constitutional amendment could be brought after making due consultation with relevant stakeholders.
The ATP chairman continued to say it is the system of consistent progress, check and balance, and a network of accountability and authority wherein every segment would participate in the race of growth.
Democracy is the name of public authority and the joint board would provide authority to every segment, Shah remarked.
In this regard, he urged immediate initiation of practical work, hoping that Pakistan would gain tremendous progress in the whole region.
