KP Minister for Science & Information Technology, Atif Khan has said that steps are being taken for a digital system to provide services to the people in an easy and transparent manner.
Besides, the Provincial Minister for Health, Taimur Saleem Jhagram, Secretary Science & Information Technology and Secretary Health, other concerned authorities also attended the meeting.
The provincial minister for science and information technology said that a health information management system is being initiated in all hospitals of the province, which will not only bring improvement in the administrative affairs of hospitals, rather will put the provision of facilities to patients on a durable and organized system.
The meeting was briefed in detail regarding the initiation of the project in the district headquarters hospitals in Mardan, Charsadda, Haripur, Swabi, Naseerullah Khan Babar Hospital, Maulvi Jee Hospital and Sifwat Ghayyur Hospital (Pehawar).
The meeting decided in principle to begin a health information management system in all hospitals on an experimental basis and directed the concerned authorities to complete all preparation and other requirements in this regard.
