LHC rejects contempt of court plea against Imran Khan

Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected contempt of court plea against Imran Khan for appearing in the court along with PTI workers.
Contempt of court case against Imran Khan came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by Justice Shujat Ali Khan Wednesday.

Nadim Sarwar advocate counsel for the petitioner Mashkoor Hussain argued Imran Khan committed contempt of court by entering in the courts along with organized bands. He also makes every decision controversial on social media which comes against him.

The counsel said the associates of Imran Khan indulged in rioting in Islamabad high court under a plan. He committed contempt of court by not stopping those who chanted slogans in the premises of court.

He requested the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against Imran Khan.

The court rejected the contempt of court plea against Imran Khan.
