Cattle export to four Gulf countries approved

The federal cabinet has given approval to the export of cattle to four Gulf countries. According to sources, the cabinet has approved the export of 16,750 cattle to four Gulf countries. Besides this, a special relaxation in the ban on the export of live animals has also been approved. The cattle will be exported to important personalities of Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. The decision was made at the request of important personalities of the Gulf countries. The summary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was approved by the federal cabinet through circulation.
The government will export goats, sheep, camels, cows, buffaloes and oxen. Sources said that 4,000 cattle will be exported for Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar; 3,500 for Sheikh Muhammad bin Faisal Al Thani of Qatar; 2,300 for Sheikh Faisal bin Nasr Al Thani of Qatar; 3,000 for Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani of Qatar; 2,500 for Sheikh Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Qasimi of UAE; 1,000 cattle for Sheikh Muhammad bin Isa bin Salman Khalifa of Bahrain; and 450 cattle will be exported for Kuwait’s Sheikh Abdulaziz Jabrul Hamid Al-Sabah.
