Government sincere to facilitate students of merged districts:Taj Muhammad Afridi

KHYBER, July 19: Government is adopting initiatives to provide all requirements to the students of the merged tribal districts so that to bring them equal to the learners of the other parts of the country. Learnings of modern technology are the need of time.

The views were expressed by the interim Provincial Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Taj Muhammad Afridi while addressing on occasion of the open ceremony of digital computerized laboratory in Government High Secondary School, Jamrud on Wednesday.

He said that the government was sincere to facilitate the tribesmen and establishing a computerized lab for the students was part of it.

The newly established facility (computerized lab) will certainly benefit the local students to get education in science subjects , he added and said it was the duty of the government to equip the new generation of tribal society with the learning of science and technology.

The Minister urged the students to decorate themselves with the knowledge of science and technology as the developed countries ruled the world by qualifying in modern sciences.

Principal Shaheed Abdul Azam Higher Secondary School, Jamrud, Shah Jehan Afridi, Deputy District Education Officer Shahid Ali, Chairmen Azmat Ali Afridi and Zabihullah Afridi beside students and teachers were among the participants.

Earlier, Taj Muhammad Afridi examined various sections of the schools and met with the students and teachers who apprised him of their problems.

He also announced the supply of a modern photo state machine for the school.
