City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed on Saturday awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates to police officers, personnel and women police officials in recognition of their outstanding professional performance in crime control and public service.
The awards were presented during a ceremony held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, where officers and personnel from various police units were recognised for their professionalism, discipline, dedication and exemplary performance in the discharge of their duties.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ahmed congratulated the recipients and said their commitment to effective crime prevention, public service and maintaining law and order had brought honour to the police force.
He said the police department would continue to uphold a transparent and merit-based system of rewards and accountability, ensuring that officers demonstrating exceptional performance received due recognition while disciplinary action would be taken against those guilty of misconduct.
The CCPO described dedicated and professional police officers as the force’s greatest asset, adding that recognising their achievements was essential for improving institutional performance, promoting professionalism and strengthening public confidence in the police.
