PESHAWAR: The body of minor girl was found by the Khazana Police on Wednesday, a day after she went missing from home, said police. Police said that the body of girl was recovered from Shah Alam, an area falls in the limits of Khazana Police Station. The girl aged between six to seven years is the daughter of a person identified as Fazal Sher, resident of Khazana village Peshawar. Following the incident, SP Rural Zafar Ahmed, DSP Rural Amjad Khan, along with SHO and investigation team immediately reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police has registered a case on the complaint of girl’s uncle and launched further investigation. Police has also formed a special team to trace the real killers of the girl. Sources said that the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted. The family members told police that the slain girl was missing from home and later on her dead body was found. Crime Reporter
