No one would be allowed to Hinder Socio-Economic Activities in Swat & Malakand, says Maj Gen Noor Wali Khan

Inspector General Frontier Corps North, Major General Noor Wali Khan, presided over a Jirga, a traditional gathering, organized by the Pak Army and Frontier Corps North in Swat.
The event was graced by the presence of Commissioner Malakand, RPO Malakand, district administration and military officials, as well as esteemed elders from Swat and Malakand, Ullema along with a sizable contingent of youth.
In his address, IGFC Major General Noor Wali Khan highlighted the pivotal role played by the people, administration, Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies in achieving and maintaining peace in Swat and Malakand.
He lauded these areas as symbols of Pakistan’s natural beauty and noted the significant increase in local and foreign tourists, underscoring the area’s newfound tranquility.
Major General Noor Wali Khan firmly stated the commitment to uphold law and order, emphasizing that no group or individual would be allowed to disrupt the hard-earned peace or hinder socio-economic activities in the area.
During the Jirga, local elders shared their perspectives on the current security situation and discussed the measures implemented to ensure peace and stability in Swat & Malakand. Participants also put forward valuable suggestions aimed at addressing the area’s challenges.
