In the Talagang Bar elections, YLC upheld its tradition and won the seat of library secretary after a bitter contest with its traditional rival.
After a lively contest, Chaudhry Shakeel Ahmed Advocate won the seat of Library Secretary by defeating Malik Liaqat Ali Advocate by 15 votes, while Malik Adil Lawa, a candidate supported by YLC, was elected General Secretary.
On this occasion, YLC Coordinator, Advocate Waseem Abbas Bhatti thanked the friends who expressed their trust and said that they will make every possible effort for the welfare of the lawyers.
Advocate Waseem Abbas Bhatti said that last year, Malik Saddam Hussain of YLC was elected as Library Secretary and Advocate Rizwana Naz as Finance Secretary, while Khawaja Muhammad Arsalan, supported by YLC, was elected as Editor.
In celebration of the victory of the Library Secretary of YLC, Chief Spotter of YLC Chaudhry Sher Afzal Advocate distributed sweets in the bar.
