PESHAWAR: The weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be cold, clear and dry, an official of the Meteorological Department said here Wednesday. The weather is cold and dry, however, in the upper districts of the province, the weather is likely to be very cold and partly cloudy, Meteorological Department officials confirmed. There is a possibility of rain in the upper districts of the province in the evening hours and chance of snowfall in the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also there, the official of the Meteorological Department said. The minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius and chance of rising to a maximum of 19 degrees Celsius with humidity ratio in the air up to 50% recorded, the official said, adding, the lowest temperature recorded in the province was minus 2 degree Celsius in Dir, Minus 1 in Malam Jabba, 1 in Saidu Sharif, 0 in Abbottabad while up to 5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Bannu. There was a reduction in seasonal diseases due to change in weather with rain and snow, he informed. APP
