Faiq renews pledge to build Jinnah’s Pakistan

Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party on Friday said 23rd March is a milestone in the history of our country. He said the Lahore resolution had united Muslim of the ‘sub-continent’ a greater objective.
Faiq Shah in his message on eve of commemorating 23rd March, [Pakistan’s Day] said that the sacrifices that rendered by father of the nation, Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and thinker of Pakistan, Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal and leaders of Tehreek e Azadi [freedom movement] had paved way for attainment of a separate and independent homeland,
He stressed that the secret of Pakistan’s progress, stability and prosperity lay in nurturing harmony, unity and tolerance by adopting democratic values and traditions.
“We as the sovereign and independent nation must renew the pledge on this auspicious occasion that to follow footprints of our forefathers and great leaders to make Pakistan as superior state,”
Shah said: “We should prayer from Allah the al-mighty and creator of the whole world, to put the Pakistan as path of sustainable progress and prosperity and also make it cradle of peace”,
He emphasized that to think about the future after looking upon the past deeds, besides gaining achievements, we must hold analysis on weaknesses as well, he added.
Faiq said that Pakistan came into existence as a result of countless and unmatched sacrifices.
He repeatedly said the secret of our country’s progress and prosperity hides in fostering democracy.
We cannot gain due respect in the rest of the world until ensuring rule of law and justice in the country, says ATP chief.
Later, Shah also addressed a function held at the party central secretariat in the federal capital, in connection with Pakistan’s Day.
Mr Shah said our history direction has been changed after adoption of an objective resolution on March 23, 1940 under the dynamic and charismatic leadership of Qaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
