BADIN: Hamdam Foundation has started planting one lakh Mangroves trees on the coastal of Badin under Surmi Project, In the initial phase, 20,000 Mangroves seed were planted in the coastal area of Sada Behar Nari Lake. A large number of social workers of district Badin participated in the campaign of planting Mangroves. Shaukat Soomro, the head of Hamdam Foundation, said in the opening ceremony of the event that, due to the absence of Mangroves forests, the coastal area is suffering from environmental problems.
