PPP is said to have played double game with the journalists on defamation act-2024. When questioned about the bill, PPP leader Shazia Marri gave equivocal reply.
During her press conference on Saturday, the journalist asked questions from Shahzia Marri has PPP too played double game with the journalists. Has PPP backed governor Punjab proceeded on leave deliberately so that the acting governor could sign the bill. PPP had assured to support journalists.
Shazia Marri gave evasive reply. She said PPP has always stood with journalists on this matter.
PPP had not supported on defamation bill. There should have been consensus on this issue.
