The Rescue 1122 has established a free medical camp in Imambargah Hussainia Hall Sadar to provide the mourners with first aid health care facilities.
A statement issued here stated that Rescue 1122 ambulances, medical bikes, fire bikes, fire vehicles, ambulance vehicles, emergency medical response unit (bus), essential medicines and medical technicians have been deployed in the medical camp.
The medical camp has provided medical aid to more than 120 mourners in the hall and transported at least six mourners to the hospital in a rescue ambulance for further medical treatment.
Director General Rescue 1122 Dr. Ayaz Khan, Regional Director Operation (Center) Dr. Mir Alam and District Emergency Officer Peshawar Engineer Naveed Akhtar personally supervised all the measures.
Along with the mourning procession, Rescue 1122 has also deployed a special medical team consisting of eight personnel.
Female medical technicians have been deployed along with male personnel to provide services to the mourners, Rescue 1122 said in the statement .
