ISLAMABAD: The district and sessions Court Islamabad has reserved its verdict on Sheikh Rashid’s acquittal plea in the case pertaining to his allegations against PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari for plotting to assassinate former prime minister Imran Khan. The counsels requested the court to acquit Sheikh Rashid in the case registered against him in Aabpara police station. Civil judge Yasir Mehmood heard the acquittal plea of Sheikh Rashid in district and sessions court Islamabad. Former federal minister appeared in the court along with his lawyers. Defecne counsel Sardar Razzaq said laws were not followed in FIR registered against Sheikh Rashid. Sheikh Rashid is accused of talking against a private person. The lawyers prayed the court to acquit Sheikh Rashid from the case registered against him in police station Aabpara. Later the court reserved decision on the petition seeking acquittal of SheikhRashid on completion of arguments. ONLINE
